My practice is focused on sports medicine, knee and shoulder arthroscopy, joint replacement as well as general orthopaedics. I also enjoy fracture and trauma. Growing up in a small community in Southern Indiana, I always had an interest in the natural sciences and medicine.  After earning my medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine, I completed my orthopaedic training in the Army. I served for 9 years as a surgeon, at Ft. Bliss and Ft. Campbell before deciding to return home to Indiana. My time in the Army, to include a combat tour in Iraq, provided excellent training returning soldiers, veterans and family members back to their active lifestyles following a wide range of injuries.

I tailor my care to the patient’s needs and goals to offer the best treatment plans to return patients back to their normal activities. Being your surgeon is an honor. I am committed to providing exceptional care with the team at Tri-State Orthopaedic Surgeons. From the clinic to the operating room, you can expect to be treated with respect and compassion.

Born and raised in Southern Indiana, it is a blessing to be back home, providing care for the area that I call home.  My goal is to improve quality of life and alleviate pain.  I try to help my patients to be more active and give them hope.

My areas of specialty are nonsurgical musculoskeletal care and image guided injections.  I completed Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation residency in Richmond, Virginia.  After residency, I spent an additional year there in Pain Medicine fellowship. As an accredited fellowship, the most respected type of fellowship, I was able to obtain board certification in both PM&R and Pain Medicine.  I am well qualified and proficient in joint injections as well complex spine injections.  I also enjoy treating patients through alternative injections such as PRP.
