Foot & Ankle Care
My decision to choose medicine as my career was greatly influenced when I volunteered in physical therapy and by my older brother; he was a medic during the Vietnam War. When my brother returned home, he became one of the first paramedics in Evansville. I really looked up to him. My interest in podiatry started while I was an undergraduate at the University of Southern Indiana; I visited a podiatrist who inspired me to choose podiatry as a career. I’m glad I did.
Today, as a board certified podiatrist, I specialize in diagnosing and treating disorders of the foot. My practice also focuses on performing surgery, treating fractures, and taking care of sports-related injuries-especially runners. I am a runner myself and feel I can relate to high school and college athletes.
As your physician, I will treat you as an individual and strive to understand your injury in the context of your daily life. I promise to listen to you and treat you as if you were a member of my family. I often ask myself, what would I recommend to my own mother?
In addition to my extensive medical commitments, I enjoy running, bicycling, reading, traveling, fishing, and spending time with my family.
