I first developed symptoms in my right arm and shoulder approximately one and a half years ago. I had pain radiating down my arm that was waking me up at night. I made an appointment with Dr. Perry and he suspected that it was a frozen shoulder. He recommended therapy to see if this would help. Symptoms did improve but after some time I was back to hurting again. We tried a couple injections and a home exercise program. After several months I began having pain again. After consulting with Dr. Perry’s nurse practitioner Joy May, she recommended we get an x-ray and then an MRI. The MRI confirmed that surgery was required. On March 28, 2016 I had a right shoulder scope, Acromioplasty, Mumford with manipulation. I am now 12 weeks post op surgery and getting better and stronger each day with the help of my therapists here at Tri-State. If not for the excellent care and compassion I have received from Dr. Perry, his nurse practitioner Joy May, nurse Katie and the whole Tri-State team I do not think I would be doing as well as I am. I keep working hard every day to reach my goals. A special thank you to Dr. Perry. You are the Best!!
