Hand, Wrist, Elbow, & Shoulder

The hands are a vital component of life. They allow people to interact with one another, give them the ability to work, and provide the opportunity to experience the outside world. The complexity and importance of a functional hand are key factors that led me to a career in upper extremity care.

Originally from Louisville, I completed my orthopaedic residency in Augusta, GA, followed by a one year fellowship in Birmingham that focused on hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. I have been happy to return to the Midwest and provide care for people within our Tri-State community. My practice focuses on conditions affecting the hand through the shoulder, with special interest in care of the hand and wrist, and shoulder arthroscopy.

I know that all patients are unique, and I treat them accordingly. Treatment options can range from nonsurgical measures to specialized surgery and surgical techniques. I help my patients understand their options and encourage them to take an active role in their health. Together we will formulate a plan to maximize their treatment. My philosophy is to care for my patients in the same manner that I would care for my own family, or would want to be cared for myself.
