Michael B. Boyd, D.O.
General Orthopaedics & Joint Replacement
The primary reason I became a doctor is because I listened to my mother. When I was six, my mother said to me, “You’re going to be a doctor,” and I believed her.
Today, after many years of advanced medical study, I am a board certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon. My practice is focused on joint reconstruction with special interest in lower extremity arthritis surgery. I offer the newest, less invasive techniques in hip and knee replacement surgery. I also specialize in arthroscopy, fracture care, and cartilage transplantation.
I genuinely enjoy spending time with my patients, and that is what my practice runs on. I have a reputation for being thorough. I like to let my patients know all of the options available to them before we start a course of treatment. I always strive to find conservative treatment options whenever possible. I realize the responsibility I have to help my patients return to a healthy, active lifestyle. I try to do my best with each and every patient of mine.
